Corey’s 1998 Toyota Tacoma build is a monster with a full float 14 bolt rear end with a Detroit locker and a Dana 44 up front.
My truck is a 1998 Toyota Tacoma. I will be swapping in a 5.7 LSX, NV4500 trans and a NP241C transfer case.
The axles and gears I am running are a 14 bolt full float with a Detroit locker in the rear and a Dana 44 up front with a lunch box locker and 5.38 gears front and rear. The tires on my Tacoma are 39.5 Iroks on 16.5×14 Bart steel wheels.
The truck started out as a 2.7 4×4, right now I’m in the process of completely swapping out the drivetrain, hoping to be done around August of this year.
